PADI Open Water Diver

PADI Open Water Diver. As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. Throughout the course you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water dives.

How Much Will It Cost? Our Open Water course is currently just £289. This includes what you will need for the course; equipment, course manual, log book, dive planning tables, etc. We don't charge for extra time needed should you run into difficulties with one or two elements of the course, though this rarely happens.

Will I Be Safe? All the way through you will be with our staff, all of whom are specially trained in all of the safety aspects of training divers. Following HSE regulations and our own Health & Safety policy we work as hard as we can to ensure that you will have a safe and comfortable experience during your course.

Who, Where, What & When? Almost anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. If you are between 12 and 14 there is a PADI Junior Open Water Diver program available. Your course starts at our Sheffield centre. You are never more than four weeks from the start of the next course. You will need basic swimming gear and your course pack.
